Jalori Pass

Jalori Pass

Jalori Pass is an high altitude mountain pass situated at an altitude of 10280 ft asl. The nearest mounain pass from, around 600 km, featuring on every adventure tourist’s map recieves about 12 ft snow during winters. There is a Mahakali temple at the top visited by thousand of devotees all year around. Although only 10 km from Jibhi, it is about an hour’s drive through a bumpy road and magnificient panoramic views.

Serolsar Lake

Serolsar Lake is a high altitude (10,171 ft) lake and can be approached via a 3 hr trek from Jalori Pass. The trail is through a thick oak forest with breathtaking views of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. The lake is considered sacred by the locals and as a tradition clarified butter (GHEE) is spreaded along the periphery of the lake.

Chaini Fort

A 1500 year old marvel of stone slabs and wooden beams, the fort is located in Chaini village, famous for its ancient structures inspired from Chinese art and archeology. The fort can be reached by a 2-3 hr hike from Jibhi.
