Conveniently accessible from across India
Khajuraho Airport (HJR) is the nearest airport — just 40 km from the resort, roughly a 1-hour drive through scenic countryside. It's the easiest way to get here from most major Indian cities.
IndiGo and Air India operate daily flights from Delhi. Seasonal routes connect Khajuraho with Mumbai and Varanasi as well, making it accessible from the west and east coast.
On arrival, pre-paid taxis are available right outside the terminal. The drive to Madla passes through Panna town and offers your first glimpse of the forested landscape.
Satna Junction is the most convenient railhead — approximately 90 km from the resort, about a 2-hour drive. It's well connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal, and Jabalpur by numerous express and mail trains.
Katni Junction (115 km, ~2.5 hours) is a useful alternative if your train doesn't stop at Satna — it's a major junction on the Mumbai–Howrah route.
From Satna, auto-rickshaws and local taxis head to Panna regularly. Shared cabs and buses are also available. The road through the forest to Madla is well-maintained.
All major highways are well maintained. The final stretch through Panna's forests is half the experience.
Stop at Khajuraho (40 km before the resort) for the UNESCO World Heritage temples — a perfect overnight addition to your trip.
